“Hear from Fatima, a Depressed, Single Mom of 2 Kids,Pakistan”

Fatima from Pakistan has two kids, and has moved back to her parents’ home after a divorce. She is currently a single mother who is struggling to make ends meet. Fatima is hardworking and tirelessly working to support both the family and her kids, but she is cornered with much more on her shoulders than she can handle. She has understandably been worried about her kids’ education and future. Fatima is very grateful for the assistance from our organization, and we appreciate all those who have played a role in assist her and her kids to grow and move past the initial survival and overwhelming state that they were all in.

“My Kids Are Behind, My Oldest is 8 Years and None of My Kids Are In School”

Nadia’s kids were not in school when we heard of their story. Even though both her and her husband constantly worked to make ends meet, it had been tough to do so. We helped their 3 older kids transit from no-school to being tuitioned at home and finally transited the older two into schools in 2025. It has all been a huge help to a family where kids struggled to fit into their peer groups intellectually, to now seeing them grow in confidence and skills/education needed to help them build their futures.

“Single Dad Of Two Daughters Struggling To Educate His Kids”

Martin is a hardworking man who just needs someone to offer him an opportunity. He has knocked on doors but has struggled to keep a job due to the economy and closing of businesses. He has moved from one casual job to another to survive. Martin is a single dad of two girls and one can only imagine how he manages to survive in Likoni, Mombasa (Kenya). With our help, two of his daughters have been in school for the second year now, and that has been a huge relief and assistance for their family.

“After My Husband Passed Away, We Lost All Hope. We Were Left To Fend For Ourselves”

When a pillar of a family passes away, it causes confusion, an overwhelm and a struggle to survive. This family did not know what to do, and fortunately reached out to us. They felt helpless, hopeless, and more. A fear of an unstable education hit when one of the kids who is also expected to rise and later help the family was now stuck. Our team is supporting this family to rise up again, with both emotional and financial assistance.

WHAT IF…

What if you swapped just one luxury meal or item for a donation towards a child who needs your help?

It’s incredible what a small group of people dedicated and inspired towards a common vision can do and achieve.

A child and their family out there would be eternally grateful for what might simply be a sacrifice of a coffee or a basic meal at the restaurant to you.

Reach out and together, let’s give these kids a fair fighting chance in what’s become a cut-throat world.

“My Kids Keep Getting Kicked Out of School, Please Help Them Stay in School”

This is the most heartbreaking story our organization has ever come across. Our co-founder woke up to a message one day— a Mom needing help for her two young kids because they were kicked out of school for lack of fees. While this is not an unusual scenario, it was painful to hear that it was only a total of $170 that kept the doors of education closed to them. An amount that surely, just a bit of teamwork would have gathered. So, we acted FAST…but we need your assistance to keep them in school.

“I Lost My Truck-Driving Job. Now I Can’t Afford Paying My Son’s Fees”

Omar’s story was another painful experience to hear. His Dad lost his job and every place he knocked had no opportunity available for him. It was devastating to face the reality with young Omar, but they had no choice but to pause school. What do you do when you hope education will pave a path away from poverty but then that path is suddenly blocked?

With our help, Omar is back in school and thriving—please help us keep him in school.

“My Son Hides Behind the Couch to Learn Math During His Sister’s Class”

We helped Hannah, a single mom with low income with homeschooling  curriculum, art suppliers, printing material and more. So it was deeply saddening during one of our occasional follow-ups to hear that her son was hiding behind the couch during his sister’s math classes. His curiosity and passion for mathematics was growing but because they could not afford classes, he had to quietly peek behind a couch to grasp whatever he could.

“I Can’t Wait to Be a Pharmacist & Help Others Like You’ve Helped Me.

Young Jasmin has always had a passion for helping and adding value to her community. Unfortunately, she’s been facing so many obstacles that she’s been close to giving up several times. We’ve supported her through visa rejections, to financial hurdles, and managing family expectations, career options, and more.

She’s now an international student, striving to build all that she has dreamed about—and we are both inspired and humbled to help her turn her dream into a reality.

WE NEED YOU!
